We are here for you in whatever capacity you need. Maybe you just need a little help, perhaps 5 hours or maybe you need us to “just take care of everything!”. All of our services are customizable. Please see below for a general overview of the services we provide.
Senior Downsizing
This is for you if your plan is to move to a smaller home, retirement home or assisted living. Here is a general idea of what you can expect.
How it works
1) Create a Plan Together – We will work with you to create a plan of action that suits your needs and timeline. You will know what is happening and when.
2) Downsizing begins – Items will be organized into: items to keep for your new home - items to give to family members or friends - items to donate - items to sell
3) Dispersal of items – Depending on what items you have and the amount, we will help with dispersing them and can also host an in-person or online Estate Sale.
4) Packing and moving – We work with trusted movers who treat your treasured items with extra special care. We oversee the entire moving process.
5) Setting up your new home – We want you to feel instantly comfortable in your new home and that means getting it all set up for you! Your favourite items and art will be displayed, your clothes hung up and your appliances tested and ready.
Senior Decluttering
Maybe you aren’t quite ready to move but it sure would be nice to have less stuff around! We’ve helped clients with a simple declutter all the way to those with some hoarding tendencies. It works very much the same way as our downsizing services, except you are staying in your home. We help you with the decluttering process with compassion, efficiency and ease so that when you look around your home, you only see and use things you love.
Senior Clearout
There might be a few different reasons you need a clearout service. Sometimes it is for when a loved one has passed away or before/after you have sold a house. We are here for you through this often emotional process and will tend to all the necessary details. It works very much in the same way as our downsizing services, except we also help with the clean and prep required to get the home ready for new occupants.
